The Diana Cargo Starburst White Blue plate 1817 Original auction. Rare. Salvage

I found this plate in a storage unit I purchased full of high end antiques. It was wrapped very well in bubble wrap with the words Diana Cargo written on the bubble wrap in Sharpie. I had no idea what the significance of this was until I googled it. Apparently this was recovered from a shipwreck that occurred on March 4, 1817 in the Strait of Malacca along the coast of Malaysia. The ship was loaded with porcelain and the cargo was recovered in 1994 from the bottom of the strait. It was later auctioned at Christie's in Amsterdam.
This bowl is in very good condition for sitting underwater for 177 years. It does have a crack as seen from the back and a couple of chips. It is at least 206 years old so it has seen it share of wear and tear but overall is a great usable bowl.
