    Description

I am going to part with this very early piece, from early Ming Dynasty.
This tall stoneware bottle was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).  Deposits to the base suggest it was made for storing oil.  It is "heavily-potted" and coated in a thick dark olive green speckled glaze.  There is a repair to one side of the mouth (see pics) and minor chips to the edge of the shoulder, all no doubt as a result of it's use.
It is certainly impressive with it's height of 38.5 cm (15 inches), weight 5.5 kgs.
This will be very carefully packaged for shipment to prospective buyer.    This is a rare piece, like the many museum quality items that Brian Page Chinese antiquities are well known for.  Can be shipped by courier of your choice to be discussed before shipping out at your cost.  I am marking the shipping as as a flat shipping amount if I find the shipper to Canada, and CAD to USA  but your welcome to use one you prefer if discussed in message and prepaid.  You can fully arrange the shipper as well if that is your preference.  Just message me for an invoice without a shipping fee on it, if you would like to arrange your own shipper.
