I make these scales in my one man shop here in Cheyoming. I stabilize ALL the wood with Cactus Juice.. This pair has a bluish hue because I used colored Cactus Juice in the stabilization process. More, or less color can be achieved. Unless otherwise mentioned, each (X2) scales measure 5"L, 2"W, 1/2" D. This gives you plenty of material for larger knife handles. I would be happy to do any custom work for you.
Knife Blanks/Scales as received are not intended to be a finished product. Our intent is for them to be ground down to your desired thickness, sanded then polished.
