Large Antique Rose Medallion Chinese Export Porcelain Punch Bowl

Description

A large antique Chinese porcelain punch bowl.
With Rose Medallion (Famille Rose) decoration.
The central cartouche of the bowl depicts a court scene. Both the interior and exterior walls of the bowl have 6 cartouches which each alternate between scenes of people & scenes of flora/fauna.
The space between each cartouche is decorated with elaborate handpainted vines, flowers, insects, animals, and gilding.
Simply a wonderful Chinese Export punch bowl!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Condition Details:
There is some rubbing here & there to the gilding and enamel painted decoration. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
