Genuine Antique CHINESE WANLI MING DRAGON BOWL

Description

A rarely offered MING DYNASTY, WANLI REIGN (1573-1619) DUCAI Porcelain Bowl depicting two 5-clawed IMPERIAL DRAGONS on the exterior, one red and the other blue, chasing the Pearl amongst clouds, fire and above Lishui waves and rocks. The center medallion of the bowl, surrounded by 2 fine blue double rings has a special red Imperial Dragon chasing the Pearl. This exquistely crafted bowl also has 6 underglazed blue script characters Wanli reign marks enclosed within 2 double fine blue rings on the bottom. Furthermore, the top rim and the base/foot both have 2 blue double circles on the inside and outside. Very good condition, no nicks, chips hairlines nor restorations whatsoever. Size: 7 cm. diameter
