    A pair of lobed Changsha ewer brush depicting words and fruits painted with iron oxide and lead glazes, covered in clear intact glaze with a brown slip, the compressed globular body with lobed sides is supported with an unglazed flat short foot giving rise to a trumpeted mouth with attached ‘S” shaped handle and a faceted spout.
    Provenance: Acquired from a land discovery with other Song wares.
