Here is a very attractive antique/vintage Chinese cobalt blue and white hand-painted octagonal tray or shallow bowl. It measures about 11 3/8" across (13 1/2" corner to corner) and about 1 1/2" tall at outer edge. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except for a shallow flake to underside edge about 1/8" across. There is a surface irregularity at upper right point, done in the making (see photo). There is a corresponding glaze skip to underside edge. The tray has had some use and there are some utensil marks visible on close examination. Still looks great. Marked on udnerside. Please see photos.
