ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN BOWL AND COVER
The featured item represents an antique Chinese porcelain bowl and a cover. The container measures approximately 2 5/8" tall, 4 1/4" cross the opening and 2 3/4" in diameter at the wood ring. With the lid on, the overall height is about 4 7/8".
The pieces are hand painted with
overglazed
enamels depicting a scene with scholars or other officials on the bowl and 2 kids holding and banner and another one riding a horse, on the lid. Both cover and bowl bears four character mark in iron red.
CONDITION:
There is a chipped piece on the cover's knob. Also, few chips on the cover and bowl's rim edges. Other wear like
scuffs
, marks and scratches. Other production flaws and imperfections.
