Introduction:
Jian kiln is a famous kiln for firing black glazed tea lanterns in Fujian in the Song Dynasty. The kiln was built and burned in the late Tang and Five Dynasties. It has a porcelain burning history of 1000 years in the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Characteristics of black glaze: the tire has high iron content, which has always been known as "iron tire". The tire body is thick, black gray and purple black. The tire is rough and hard, and the color at the exposed tire is heavy and dull.
The main products are lamps, bowls, plates and dishes, and also burning boxes, cans, pots, lamps, furnaces, bowls, plum bottles, Ming ware, etc. it is famous for its rich black glazed porcelain in the Song Dynasty. Those with inscriptions of "for imperial use"（供御） and "Jin Zhan" (进盏) on the soles of the feet should be Tribute fired for the court of the Song Dynasty.
