    This listing is for a lovely 19th Century Chinese Cloisonné on bronze Meiji Period (1868-1913) dragon decorated jardiniere or planter. The jardiniere has an oval lobed shape and is decorated with a pair of facing five-toed dragons chasing a flaming pearl on both the front and back. The cloisonne features assorted colors and designs in yellow, blue, turquoise, pink and white against a black background. There is a decorative wave design surrounding the brass foot ring and a blue cloud design around the shoulder area. The bronze collar and foot ring have a natural aged patina. The interior of the jardiniere is black enamel and the inside of the foot ring is decorated with turquoise enamel.
    Measures 5 1/2" high, 9 3/4" long and 6 1/2" wide. Weighs 3.3 pounds.
    This nice jardiniere is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws.
